INGREDIENTS:
7 oz broccoli
1-2 large carrots (cut into pieces)
1 tsp. salt
5-6 cups water
¼ cup teriyaki sauce
1 pinch roasted sesame seed
PREPARATION:
Method # 1
1. Put the water in a steam cooker, then add carrots and broccoli.
2. Steam for about 5 minutes.
3. Remove and place on a plate.
4. Pour teriyaki sauce over the vegetables.
5. Season with salt and sprinkle with roasted sesame seeds.
6. Serve hot.
Method # 2
1. Boil water in a medium pot until simmering.
2. Add broccoli and carrots, then boil for about 3 minutes.
3. Using a slotted spoon, remove the vegetables and place on a plate.
4. Pour teriyaki sauce over the vegetables.
5. Season with salt and sprinkle with roasted sesame seeds.
6. Serve hot.
